He holds a Doctor of Ministry (Australian College of Theology), Master of Education and a Certificate of Biblical Counselling. Pete has been an active counsellor for over ten years and since 2018 has also been operating as a ministry supervisor. Through these roles Peter is able to bring to life his passion to partner with others, helping equip them to improve their effectiveness in ministry, whilst also teaching how we can map the grace of God onto the details of life.
From 2013 – 2018 Peter served as a director of Biblical Counselling Australia before stepping down to focus his time on Restore Ministries. Pete loves bringing people into connection with God and scripture in the intricacies of their lives. He is passionate about seeing restorative and transformative change in people’s lives as they draw closer to God, reorienting themselves towards Him.
Through his various roles, and personal experience in ministry, Peter is passionate about sharing teachings on marriage, parenting and equipping leaders in the church for personal ministry.
A husband, and a father, when Pete isn’t preaching or counselling he enjoys spending time camping and playing sport outdoors with his four boys, or enjoying a coffee with his wife, Angela.
